If I have an itch, I scratch it, or at least try. My biggest itch is not the accumulation of power, nor influence, nor wealth, but rather to simply be the best version of myself while navigating the great mystery of life in search of my truest purpose. Society and peer pressure often influence our goals and directions in life, yet our souls would guide us quite differently if we only looked inward and listened. With brutal honesty, self-awareness, and open-mindedness, I try to walk my own sacred path; guided by my inner voice. Some might call this pursuit a search for enlightenment, but I would simply call it being honest with myself and living authentically.
A life lived outdoors, working and studying all things natural, quiets my mind and silences my ego. Feeling the rhythms of the earth, the cycles of life, surrounding myself with the positive energies of nature amidst the solitude allows me to witness deeper universal truths, entrenching my beliefs that a more profound life does exist beyond the mundane and superficial. So I journey into the wilderness with my horse and dog to find my own answers. Self-discovery lies somewhere beyond the noise and haste.
